Australasian Monster Energy Super X Championship Update

Chad Reed took over the points lead and earned back the red championship plate after winning three out of four motos at the second round of the Australasian Monster Energy Super X Championship held at the Skilled Stadium in Geelong, Victoria Australia.

Riding aboard his new Monster Energy Kawasaki, Reed took the lead early and dominated out front. Woodstock Honda’s Daniel Reardon rode a great race and finished in the runner up spot, while Motorex KTM’s Tye Simmonds rounded out the top three.

The Lites class saw Suzuki’s Matt Moss on top of the podium again. Moss picked up where he left off last week by taking the holeshot in the main event and leading the entire race to the checkers. JDR Motorsport MX Rad’s Ryan Marmont grabbed second place, while American rider Kyle Cunningham finished third.

The Monster Energy Super X championship will now head across the country for its first ever indoor race at the Burswood Dome in Perth. For more information, check out www.superx.com.au

The inaugural RIDERS F1RST event featuring David Bailey was held on Friday night to celebrate the Icon and introduce a new program by ONE Industries to provide help for injured riders.

This year’s event was held at Oakley world headquarters in southern California and brought together key figures in the industry as well as some of the most successful riders in the world. The evening celebrated David’s achievements and raised awareness and money for a good cause.
