Kyle Peters first got interested in motocross when he was just 7 years old. After attending a race, he got a Yamaha PW 50 for Christmas and was racing a few months later. The North Carolina native would freqeuently train at the Millsaps Training Facility in Georgia over the years. Peters continued with Star Valli the following year, making the Main Event in each of the final six rounds of the 250 East Supercross season after missing the first few races due to injury. In his first full outdoor season, Peters had a pair of top-ten moto finishes but battled injuries throughout the season. Excited to be racing, the rookie rider put a lot of pressure on himself to gut through the injuries and later admitted that it was a mistake to do so. By the end of the season, Peters' confidence was shaken and he parted ways with Star Valli.
Making a jump to AG Motorsports aboard a Honda in 2013, Peters is currently enjoying a fresh start and a breakthrough year in Supercross in the 250 East region. He kicked off the season with a 4th place finish at Dallas, then picked up his first career podium a few weeks later with a 2nd place result at Indianapolis.
