Paul is back from last weekends huge event at Red Bull Dreamline while going head-to-head with the stacked lineup of riders! The finalist went off during their two-hour jam session on Saturday, testing out what was possible in the technical upper section and over the three gigantic jumps at the end of the 1,690-foot course.
"I had a really awesome time at Dreamline. The course layout was so sick and at the bottom half of it, the jumps where ideal for me." - Langlands
Langlands came out swinging, dropping early runs packed with bangers from top to bottom. This huge frontflip capped one of his first passes. Paul undoubtedly got the loudest support from the crowd throughout the day, and rightfully so – some of his runs were completely insane and on edge. He pulled superman and no-handed frontflips, toboggan frontflips and backflips, stretched nothings, a nac-nac tiregrab flip, and one run ended with a wild superman tailwhip backflip, a huge superman seatgrab, and a barely-missed frontflip tailwhip. Everybody went nuts, and he tried to land the trick again but suffered another crash that blew his tyre, so he called it there. He was the fans favorite though for sure.
"Qualifying went well and came through in the third spot. Finals I put down 5 solid runs which included a massive 360 spin both ways with added combos, off the bike tricks, frontflip combos and backflip combos in each run. I was please with a 7th overall. I haven't ridden jumps of this size for a few years so it was rad to back on them again."
Huge congrats to Paul for going out there and holding it down for One Industries. Check out this video our friends at Ride BMX Magazine sent over.
